Saturday Morning Breakfast: The Dark Humor of Zach Weiner

The web comic Saturday Morning Breakfast has had me in stitches for days. And there are so many posts I have yet to dig my way to the bottom. Which is good, because otherwise I would be reduced to refreshing the home page all day, praying for more funny. The humor is very dark, sometimes down-right depressing. But it's always hilarious.

Hilarious Comics

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I have been one busy little blogger.

Married to the Sea is another website of great, one-shot comics by Drew and Natalie Dee. Drew also does the comics formerly none as Where Are the Dogs Humping (which now appears to be called Superpoop).

Where Are The Dogs Humping is a great collection of images captioned in such a way as to make you laugh your face off.

Garfield Without Garfield

Move over Meursault, the world has a new existentialist hero: Jon Arbuckle.

By simply removing Garfield and his speech bubbles from Garfield cartoons, the author of Garfield Minus Garfield has created a darkly comedic collection of comics about loneliness in the modern world. This is the sort of humor that makes you cringe a little with sadness while you let out a sort of laugh-moan. Think the British version of The Office.

Comically Geeky

I've been saving this one for awhile and, given the Macworld Expo yesterday and the unveiling of the MacBook Air, today seemed like a good time.

Hijinks Ensue is a self-described "Geek web-comic". Joel Watson, the sites creator, is one hilarious guy, and also gives you great updates on what's going on in nerddom: from gaming news to what's going on with Joss Whedon. It's updated every Monday and Thursday and definitely bookmark-worthy.
