This is a fun game and also an interesting way to follow how voters are feeling about the election. 

Peritus Pundit asks you to guess who will win, Obama or McCain, in which states by filling in a map of the US. 

After the Closing Date, all eligible entries will be compared against the Final Results on: 1) the winner of the popular vote of the Election; and 2) the winner of the popular vote of the Election in each state. The entry that contains the most answers that are closest to the Final Results will win first prize. The entries that contain the second and third most accurate answers will win second and third prize respectively.

One of the coolest features is a map showing the average predictions. Obviously it's impossible to know how accurate or inaccurate of a sample population it represents, but it's still pretty darn interesting.

What's this? It's Friday: where's the Friday Drive-In? This isn't a video?

I know, I know. But this one is so good I couldn't keep it under my hat until Monday.

Palin as President is an easter-egg filled treasure hunt of comedy. Click around the image of Plain in the Oval Office to find the funnies. The best part is the site will be updated everyday until November 4th. I've been tracking it for a couple days and it only gets funnier (more depressing?).

Banksy has created an insane installation in the West Village (that's NYC, of course): an animatronic leopard, fish sticks swimming in a fish bowl, chicken nuggets that peck at a dish of dipping sauce... Crazy. Amazing. It's open from 10am - Midnight until halloween. 89 7th ave, between West 4th and Bleeker I'll be there tonight at some point. See you there?

Google the Past

Today, in honor of Google's 10th birthday, they are giving you a chance to search their oldest available index. It's a great way to find things you thought were lost forever. If the search results lead to a page that doesn't exist anymore, you can still see it using the Way Back Machine (which deserves a post of its own some day). 

I found an ancient, embarrassing, and now offline diaryland journal of mine from high school. Let me know what you find.
