Crazy Baseball Movie Game Thing

If I spoke whatever language this is in it would surely make a lot more sense to me. Makyu Royale seems to be some sort of flash baseball "game" where you decided what kind of pitch to throw to get the final out. It also seems like you can create your own player stats or something... There's a lot of things you can click around on but over all I can't really decipher what I'm supposed to be doing....

But the design is incredible. The animation and especially the color is superb. It takes awhile to load and you may have no clue what's going on (although you'll probably have some) but it's definitely worth a look.

Weird News: Feet Washing Up on Canada's Shore

Yesterday, for the 6th time this year and the second time this week, a human foot washed up on a British Columbia shoreline.

Anyone have any theories? Foot-chopping serial killer?

Did Coldplay Rip-off Creaky Boards?

A video? you ask, It's not Friday....

But we thought this was important and didn't want to wait until the Friday Drive In.

My girlfriend's band, Palmyra, did a couple shows with the band Creaky Boards in 2007. Imagine our surprise when we heard that Coldplay may have ripped them off. The video below explains it all.

There's a lot of debate floating around about this (just google the names of the two bands for a taste) and now even Creaky Boards front man Andrew Hoepfner doesn't seem so sure. So what do you guys think? Stolen or just sort of similar?

New Web Diversions Day: Tuesday Surveys!

For those of you who don't know, Web Diversions posts reviews of internet distractions every Monday and Wednesday and quality video content every Friday for the Friday Drive In. Now we're adding another day: Tuesday Surveys.

Every Tuesday I'll post a question and ask you, the readers, to share your two cents in the comments. Let's give it a try...

What TV father figure, past or present, would you most like to be your dad? Please note it's "father figure", so people like Uncles Jessie and Joey would apply. Discuss!

Make Your Own Sock Puppet Movie

On Iceland Socks, an Iceland tourism website, you can make your own sock puppet film and send it to friends.

Select your sock puppet pair and give them names. Then choose your scenes and write in your dialogue "translations". Unfortunately you can't embed the video you make but it does give you a link where you can view your video.

In Web Diversions news, VH1's Best Week Ever linked to us today (though not by name). The new visitors are rolling in (Hi guys!). So make 'em feel welcome willya?
